New Beginnings... and endings?

Well, what a long time it has been since I wrote a blog post! Because nothing has been going on in my life? No, far from it! This has been one of the most busy, chaotic years in my memory.
The year started in January with me finishing my Level 2 Course in Understanding Autism, and then setting up a parents' support group. That has taken off really well, and I've had a lot of parents comment that they are really appreciating not being alone and being able to meet others who understand what they are going through.
Both of our teenagers have coupled up this year with an 'other half', although our daughter is having a bit of a rocky time with her relationship at the moment. It's an emotional rollercoaster as a teen navigating romantic relationships - what I didn't realise was that it is just as emotional as parents, watching your babies go through it!
Lydia has started college this week and Daniel has gone into year 10. Daniel has also started up the new rugby season today, had his first match, and is currently getting X-rayed in A&E! I feel like life is just a bit of a circus at the moment.
I spent a good few months this year leading a team to appoint a Parish Nurse at our church. We appointed one, and she is due to start in October, so that's exciting!
I am trying to overhaul my website at the moment so that there is space on there for the fibromyalgia group and the Parenting Neurodiverse Teens Group so that people can be signposted to the resources and help that they need. Watch this space....
See you soon,
Keep Smiling! :-)
